Camping and travelling is in my blood, here is me in the caravan for my first birthday. Cute hey!

I was camping in a swag earlier than I can remember and over the years tried it all, all types of tents, hiking, QP (Queensland Pole), canvas and dome. I’ve camped in swags, camper trailers, roof top tents, campervans, motorhomes, have lived and travelled in caravans though many different stages of my life. I have camped in almost every state in Australia and also in NZ, Japan and the USA.

I love it all, my favourite though, the trusty swag under the Aussie stars in the middle of the outback.

Picture yourself sitting by the campfire, listening to the wildlife, no hustle and bustle, no traffic, just you and nature and the most amazing natural lightshow you will ever see.

Adventures with the Venturing Ducks.

Introducing Lucky9 and CatDuck. Covid19 impacted us in all different ways, my way, was being entertained by these two rubber ducks! Stay with me here…. it was lock down, I’m sure we all remember how weird that was!

Everyone was bored, living in a small town in Central Qld the local radio station, 4RFM, decided to run a competition, each day a challenge was posted you needed to complete the challenge and post photo evidence of you doing it. Not wanting to have my face all over social media I asked to use my little duck as a proxy. Next thing I know is that you need an Instagram page for your pet, so yep Lucky9 got an Insta page, CatDuck soon joined in the fun and with lockdown over the Venturing Ducks would share their adventures from all over the place.

Lucky9 was found upside down lost in the grass at a Relay for Life event, he had a little 9 on the bottom of him.

CatDuck was found in a geocache in Utah, USA while on a motorhome holiday over there.

Vision

Everyone needs a vision, this is mine. To develop a brand that shows that life can be an adventure if you just choose to live it.

Don’t sit on the couch living your life through the TV watching reality shows or vlogs about the things you want to do. Just do it! So many people put things off until they are too late, life is short, do it now.
